It has taken me some time to come up with the words that I need to share, so here they are... Godspeed to you my love, I will look after and care for our babies as I always have and I promise, no one will give them a poor impression of you as long as I have a say in it, they will always see you with bright blue eyes , jokes that never ended, and that grin you had at the punch line. They will always know you as the greatest drummer, the man who knew everything about Rush, and the one who tucked them in when they were tiny. I have come to realize I was left here behind you to care for our babies because you had the faith in me that I could, you always saw more strength in me than I saw in myself. I’ve got this Rich, you don’t need to worry(which is why you rarely did), they are in good hands. I will make sure they only know the best of you. I loved you with all that I had. I have and will continue to miss my best friend… RIP I’ll take care of the rest. With love through the good, the bad, and the ugly... I forgive you, i will never forget you, Serina.

Hearing about Richard's death saddens me beyond words. Just recently we were discussing how he wanted to come for a visit in Scotland, and also how we planned on discussing our "family tree" soon. Even though we never got to meet in "real life", we had a lot of laughs and good times talking on Facebook. My heart goes out to all of you, family and friends.
