Kay was my advisor @ SU College of Nursing and my favorite faculty member all-around. She helped me through some tough times and I could not be more thankful for her!

The officers & members of Syracuse Sail & Power Squadron wish to convey their condolences on the passing of Kay. Kay & her late husband Gabe were long-time members of SSPS and devoted many hours to the goals of the squadron in promoting boating safety thru public education courses. They will be long remembered. Our deepest sympathy to their families.

Kay and her husband Gabe kept their boat "Jolly Times" down on the Onieda River near our home. They would always take the time to say hello and make us feel special. Its how they lived their lives, always giving. They certainly made their lives rich, meaning by the friends they blessed. You will always be in our hearts, The Rio Family

Kay was my mentor,my first clinical instructor and she kept me in school when I wanted to quit. She celebrated with me when I got my Masters in Nursing some years later. She was my role model as a nursing instructor and her kind guidance will follow me forever. She was a special person that I will never forget.
