Violet E Albro

Violet E. Albro, 92, Of Lakeport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020, with loving family by her side.

At the age of 17, Violet courageously chose to pack her belongings in a single piece of luggage and moved to America with her husband William Albro whom she married at the end of World War 2. They settled in Canastota, New York, where they were married for 72 years and raised their loving family.

Violet is predeceased by her husband who passed away in 2017. She is survived by her children Christine Dodge, Richard Albro, and William (Annette) Albro; two sisters; and several grand children including her beloved granddaughter Morgan.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020, at 11:00 am, At Oneida Lake Cemetery.
