Paul Wescott Obituary

Paul A. Wescott, 80, of Central Square, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Manlius, NY to the late Howard and the late Edna (Mason) Wescott. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Sharon (Tanner) Wescott; his sons, Paul Wescott and Mike Wescott; siblings, Howard Wescott, Jr., Arlene Zink, and George Wescott.

Paul joined the United States Army where he served 4 years. He worked for Detroit Diesel as a Diesel Mechanic and he retired from Oswego Asphalt. Paul loved his work and his family. He was a member of the American Legion, the Oswego County ATV Club, and the Teamsters Union #317.

Paul is survived by his children, William Wescott, Sherrie Wescott, Lori Wescott, Kerrie Jay (Yvonne) Wescott, Shannon Sofsky, Kimberly Sofsky, Jennifer (Huggins) Wescott, Melissa (Michael) Wendt, and Jessica Wescott; his sister, Minnie Hall; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved “Granny”.
