Patricia Anne Wart, 61, of Syracuse passed away at home on February 17, 2020.
A 1977 graduate of Paul V. Moore in Central Square, Patty had a creative spirit, with a love of music, talent for painting, and innovations in the kitchen. She enjoyed volunteering for head start and organizing bike-a-thons for St. Jude’s. But above all, she was devoted to her family and friends, especially as a lovingsister, mother and grandmother.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Irene Sweatland of Central Square, and she is survived by her five children and their spouses: Ryan and Amyjo Wart of Central Square, Adam Williams and Kate Navickas of Cortland, Dylanand Candy Williams of Corning, Bailey and Brian Merritt of Lagrangeville, and Alfred Dehors of Legrangeville. She had seven grandchildren: Harper, Lilyjo and Felix Wart, Griffin and Ian Merritt, and Jerome Alston and Cheyenne Harndon. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Sweatland of Mexico, NY, and her nephews Ethan and Logan Teller.
