Maureen Conley Obituary

Maureen H. Conley, 86, of Bridgeport, passed away on July 30, 2020. She was born on February 24, 1934 in Schenectady, NY to the late James and the late Helen (McGreehan) Mc Neil. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James (Sandy) Mc Neil and Donald (Kathy) McNeil and her brother-in-law, Eugene Piston.

Maureen was a Registered Nurse for Sunnyside nursing Home in East Syracuse, retiring in 1992. She received the NYS Nursing of Excellence Award in 1990 for her many years in healthcare. Maureen’s passion was counted Cross Stitch. She loved Bingo and vacationing with her family, whom she loved the most.

Maureen is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald; sons, Timothy, Michael, Robert (Debra), and J. Matthew Conley; sister, Joan Piston; Brothers, Jack (Marge) McNeil and Paul (Sue) McNeil; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Due to Covid-19, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Maureen’s honor to the Bridgeport Food Pantry, c/o 229 W. Yates Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Interment will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa.
