Maida (Myra) Kukko Obituary

Maida (Myra) H. Kukko of Constantia, NY, passed peacefully on September 4, 2020. She was born August 5, 1928 to Charles and Elizabeth Pentilla. Myra is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lauri Kukko; her son, Edward Kukko; and her grandson Cole Rio.

Myra was a wonderful loving grandma, mother, and wife. She lived for her family, and was proud of her Finnish heritage. She was a devoted member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW POST 7325 in Constantia, and was the oldest living member. She worked in food service for Central Square School District for many years before she retired.

Myra is survived by her children, Leo (Linda) Kukko, Kathleen (Don) Rio; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Murphy, Sarah (Mike) Kukko, Tyler (Melanie) Kukko, Ashleigh (Jason) Tenny, Amy (Chris) Rio, and Dylan Rio; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Myra will be announced and held at a later date.
