Lynda Megnin Obituary

Lynda Elizabeth Megnin, of Tuttle Road, beloved wife of William C. Megnin, Jr., passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 10, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.

She was born on March 2, 1945 in Syracuse, daughter of the late Clifford and Jennie Large. Her last professional employment was with Niagara Mohawk. Lynda enjoyed her life on the water and her weekly trips to the casino with her sister, Carol. She was predeceased by a brother, David Large.

She is survived by he rloving husband William C. Megnin, Jr., of 46 years, a daughter, Jennifer Megnin of Bridgeport and a son, William C. Megnin, III of Phoenix; she is also survived by her sisters, Carol Gibidies of Central Square and Patricia Neer of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her only cherished granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Megnin along with several nieces and nephews. In lieu of floral tributes, donations can be sent to the Central New York SPCA, 5878 E Molloy Rd, Syracuse, NY 13211.

Funeral arrangements will be private and are entrusted to Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport, NY, 315-668-2688.
