Kenneth E Hotaling

Kenneth E. Hotaling, 79, of Central Square, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 29, 2021, with loving family by his side.

Ken served as Councilman for Town of Hastings in 1980 and was current Deputy Supervisor from 1983 until his passing. He retired from Crouse Hinds in 2004. He very proudly served with the Central Square Fire Company for 55 years where he held numerous positions, most recently, Captain of the Fire Police. 

Ken is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, the former Ethel Chittenden; sons David (Nancy) and grandson Alex Hotaling of Douglasville, GA and Dennis (Tammy) Hotaling of Central Square; brother George (Carol) Hotaling of Clay; and loving pets Taffy, Grey, Mickey, and Buster.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, August 1st, 11 am to 3 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, August 2nd, 10 am, at the funeral home, followed by a burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
