Kathleen A. French, 76, of Pulaski passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1944 in Syracuse, NY to the late Paul C. and the late Florence M. (Corcoran) French. Besides her parents, Kathleen was also preceded in death by her son, James Cooper.
She loved to complete intricate coloring projects, cook for her daughter, and spend time with her great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of CCBI in Syracuse, working as a receptionist at the Parish courthouse prior to her retirement. Kathleen loved people and was vey popular around her community, always available to help with a smile. She is known for calling everyone “Babe” because she drew everyone she met into her circle of family. She was only 4’ 11’’ tall, but she was huge in giving anything she could to anyone and everyone.
Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Shelagh M. Cummings and Patricia E. French; daughter, Jackie Harrigan; five grandchildren, Steven Sherlock, David Adams, Amber Harrigan, Ashley Harrigan, and Shannon Harrigan; 7 great-grandchildren; nephews, Richard Cummings, Paul Cummings, Stephen Cummings; niece, Mary Susan Roddy; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
