Joseph LaVigne, Jr Obituary

Joseph E. LaVigne Jr, 83, of Constantia, NY, passed away on March 1^st at St. Josephs Hospital. Joe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen (Klotz); daughter, Mary Grace (Jason) Rosen of Amherst, NY; son, David J. LaVigne of Constantia; sisters, Sharon (William) King, Nanette (Thomas) Cosbey; sister-in-law, Susan LaVigne; grandsons, Maxwell and Zachary Rosen and Joseph C. LaVigne; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph, Sr and Olive LaVigne and his brother, Terrance.

Joe retired from the Town of Constantia Highway Dept. He was a life member, Past Chief, Past President and Past Commissioner of the Constantia VFD, Past Pres. and life member of North Shore Ambulance, Cleveland NY. Past president of the Oswego County Firefighters, Oswego County Chiefs and the Northern Central Fire Fighter’s Association and past member of the Fire Advisory Board. He was a past Commander of the American Legion Post 858, Cleveland.

There will be no calling hours and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
