John R. Rydelek, 92, of Central Square, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026.
John was born to Boleslaw “Barney” and Mary Rydelek in Syracuse, NY on September 15, 1933. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
John was predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Grace (Stevens) Rydelek, 3 daughters Rene Pontello, Susan Graber (Mark), and Katherine Frey (Christopher). As well as 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister, Julia Rose, and several nieces and nephews.
John was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother and uncle. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting with his brothers, relaxing by the pool and at camp, but mostly spending time with his family all while holding his can of Genesee Beer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and time to be determined.
