Jean Sforza

Jean Mae Sforza entered Heaven on July 17, 2022. Jean was the kindest person that ever walked on this Earth. She always had a smile and a friendly word. If you needed clothing mended, shortened or made fancy, all you had to do was put it on her porch in a paper bag, then return in a few days, leave $2, and pick up your "new" clothes.

A longtime member of The United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. Jean was always at the ready for pot luck suppers. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Jean is survived by two sisters, Roberta Backus of Baldwinsville and Carol Fry of The Villages, Florida; 3 daughters, Christine Doty, Denise Neil, and Marian Sforza; grandchildren, Kyle Doty, Justin Doty, Jennifer Myers, Andrea Babcock; great grandchildren, Hannah Doty, Maxwell Doty, and Parker Doty.

She was predeceased by her husband, Emmanuel Sforza and a daughter, Barbara.

Funeral Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to Bridge[ort United Methodist Church and the Central New York Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
