James "Jim" Brownson

James A. Brownson (Jim), 69, of Kirkville, passed away on Friday with his family by his side. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.

Jim was a lifelong farmer, dedicated to his land and community. Over the years he taught us to always look forward and to keep the faith. Jim was often found shooting the breeze on the porch of his farm store; sharing love and knowledge of machines and crops. 

Jim is survived by his mother, Grace Brownson; children, Ben (Melissa) Brownson, Sara (Mike) LaPointe, Beth (Dave) Swank, Molly (Andy) Gaeta, Susan (Marc) Brigham, Cindy Brownson (Tj Hornberger); grandchildren, Dylan and Madison Brownson, Garrett, Isabella, Owen LaPointe, Claire, Joey, Matt Gaeta, Lucas Brigham; siblings Wayne (Shirley) Brownson, Debroah Brownson, Donna (George) Lynch, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the family farm on Saturday, October 24th from 1-7pm.
