Heather Elaine Covington

Heather Elaine Covington passed away after a long illness on Friday, June 12, 2026.

She was born on August 27, 1980, to Holly and Thomas Uzailko.

 Heather earned her master’s degree in human services. Some of her enjoyments in life were Legos, going to the beach in Key West, playing video games, watching cooking shows, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces.

Heather is predeceased by her brother, Thomas Max; nephew, Maverick Raymond; maternal grandparents, Shirley and Harold Chamberlain Jr.; paternal grandparents, Lena and George Uzailko; Aunt Linda McKinney; uncles Carl Chamberlain and George Uzailko; and her beloved dog, Charles.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mickayla Covington; parents, Holly and Thomas Uzailko; step-dad, Jerome Hudson; sister, Amber (Andrew) Raymond; nieces, Merrisa, Makena, and Maizie; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
