Harold Minckler Obituary

Harold F. Minckler, 76, of Mexico, passed away on June 19, 2022. He was born in Syracuse on July 6, 1945 to the late Clarence and the late Jenny (Boots) Minckler. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila (Gates) in 2014; and his siblings, Joyce, Barbara,Clarice (Hula), Pete, Richard, and Sonny.

Harold adored his late wife, children, grand children , great grand children and friends. He loved going to the horse races, camping, and cherished spending time with family and friends.

Harold's smile was contagious... he was always a jokester.

Harold worked at Eagle comtronics for 20+ years and Oswego County BOCES, from witch he retired.

Harold is survived by his 2 daughters, Lisa (Mark) Sikes- Bardin and Linda (Sean) Stanton; grandchildren, Jessica Sikes (Tee Jay Warren) Danielle (Josh) Cooper, Kyle (Chloe’ Murphy) Sikes, and Breanna (Jake) Cook; brother, Paul (Carol) Minckler; and 4 great grandchildren, Layla Cooper, Shawn Hall, Everleigh Cooper, and Beau Cook; many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held for both Harold and Sheila on Friday June 24, 2022 at 1pm. At Vermilion cemetery. Celebration of life to follow at the Minckler residence. All are welcome .
