Gerald T. Hill

Gerald T. Hill, 67, of Bridgeport passed away on Friday March 1, 2024 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 10AM on Friday March 8, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi in Bridgeport, NY. Jerry will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa in the spring. 

Gerald was born to Gerald and Dorothy Hill on October 10, 1956 in Syracuse. He dedicated many years working for Syracuse China. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry loved hunting and fishing, often visiting a spot in Maple Bay.

Gerald is survived by his mother; Dorothy Hill, his daughter; Leah (Frank) Dio, his brothers; Thomas (Bambi) Hill, James (Evelyn) Hill, Carl Hill, and Richard (Shelly) Hill, his longtime companion; Pauline Myers, stepchildren; Richard Gollinger and Tiffany Myers, as well as 9 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his father, Jerry is predeceased by his sons; Gerald and Christopher Hill, a well as a stepdaughter; Carol Kelsey.
