Edward A. Cosselman

Edward “Ed” A. Cosselman, 82, of West Monroe, passed away at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Gloversville, NY on December 31, 1938 to the late Edward A. and the late Amanda (McDougal) Cosselman. Ed was preceded in death by his grandson, Conor O’Brien.

Ed graduated from Gloversville High School in 1959 where he participated in a lot of sports. Ed loved Golf, Syracuse University Football and Basketball, and he loved boating. Ed was a Sales Rep for American Tobacco for 27 years before retiring in 1997.

Ed is survived by his wife of 45 years, Martha; children, Theresa Cangemi, Tammy Rossamondo, and Samantha (Robert) Tassone, Shaun O’Brien, Kevin O’Brien, Kathleen O’Brien, and Kerry (Sandra) O’ Brien; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, John (Patricia) Cosselman and George (Lisa) Cosselman; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Long;  numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on from 4-7 PM Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. A Celebration of Life will follow at 916 Riverside, Brewerton, NY.
