Donn I. Williams

Donn I. Williams, 82, of Constantia, passed away on December 19, 2020. He was born on October 4,1938 in Columbus, OH to the late Fred and the late Helen (Heath) Williams. Donn was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn “Evie”  (Hutton) Williams and his brother, Thomas Williams.

Donn served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Japan during the Vietnam War. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Donn was a member and a volunteer at the Oswego County Senior Center in Constantia. Donn loved to sing and he was a song leader for many years at the Church of Christ in Watertown. He was also in a Barber Shop Quartet. He is a current member of the Wetzel Road Church of Christ in Liverpool. Donn was very involved with his grandchildren’s sports and band activities where he would volunteer on a regular basis. He was lovingly known as “Papa” to many throughout the community and a friend to everyone he encountered.

Donn is survived by his children, Martha Williams Eldridge and Donn H. Williams; grandchildren, Richard Eldridge and Kristin Eldridge; siblings, Larry Williams and Martha Williams Schon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Visitation will be held from 3- 6pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square, NY 13036.
