Dale was an LPN at the Syracuse VA hospital. She was committed to work, her patients and kindness to her coworkers. She also worked in respite care. She loved her nursing career.
She was a member of the Central Square Lioness Club and enjoyed volunteering for her community, she worked very hard to help others. She really enjoyed working at the Central Square Apple Festival. She enjoyed being with her lioness family.
She really enjoyed doing pretty much any crafts, camping, traveling and spending time with family. She collected lighthouses, sailboats and Santa Clauses. She was gentle and kind, and loved taking care of others. She was always late to anything she attended. She had a smile that was infectious. She always knew how to make everyone feel better whether it was a laugh or a hug. She touched the life of so many people. She never grew old, She always told everyone she was only 16 and she lived her life like she was. She did everything with her grandchildren, even sledding. She never let her age stop her from doing anything. She would even take all of her grandchildren at once. She adopted and loved anyone who would let her. She taught her whole family what was really important in life. The only thing she couldn’t teach us was how to live without her.
