Ciaya Marie Horning-Cole

Ciaya Marie Horning-Cole, 26, of Central Square, departed unexpectedly early Monday morning, October 5, 2020.

Ciaya was born August 2, 1994, in Syracuse, NY. She was a girly girl, "Nails On Point," who loved to feel pretty. Ciaya was a student of Central Square School District for most of her academic years before graduating from Pulaski High School. As a young girl she was involved in Girl Scouts, cheerleading, and had a love for music. Ciaya loved to laugh with friends and family. She married Spencer Cole and had a daughter Melani Rose Horning-Cole. Melani was the light of Ciaya's life and she will hold her heart eternally.

Ciaya is predeceased by her grandparents Dale Horning, Toni McDonald, and Eric Horning with a special mention to Aunt Colleen (Nana) who was a very loving caretaker in both Ciaya and Melani's lives. Ciaya leaves behind her husband, daughter and step son Jedidiah Cole; father Luke (Bunnie) Horning; mother Leslie (Aaron Lewis) Gamble-Wood; brother CJ Wood; grandparents "Grama Kitty," Rose (Mark) Mitchell, and Robert (Claudia) Gamble; with the addition of numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family all of whom loved her dearly.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday,  October 16, 2020, from 4 pm to 6 pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 6 pm, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2604 State Route 11, Parish, NY 13131. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spencer Cole, 41 Camic Road, Central Square, NY 13036, for the care of their daughter Melani Rose Cole.
