He was born to parents (Louis and Gertrude Rhoades), on September 15, 1949 and lived in Cleveland, NY for most of his life. Charles graduated from Paul V. Moore High School. He worked for a number of companies, notably, Owl Wire and Cable for many years. Charles is survived by daughters Jennifer Rhoades, Stephanie Rhoades, and Michelle Rhoades, as well as a host of grandchildren (Alicia, David, Miranda, Abbey, Bailey, Mattylin, and Emily) and great grandson, Micah. He is also survived by brothers Bob and Howard, and sister Trudi (Porter) along with many nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by parents Louis and Gertrude Rhoades and sister Lois Fake.

His wishes were to hold a Celebration of Life gathering which will be held at a later date as COVID-19 restrictions ease.
