Barbara "Bobbi" S. (Hinman) Weiss

Barbara S. “Bobbi” (Hinman) Weiss of Liverpool passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at St Camillus Nursing Home. Bobbi was born October 12, 1939, the 6^th of seven children of Royal and Cecile Hinman. She grew up in Brewerton and graduated in 1957 from Central Square Central School, now Paul V. Moore High School, in which Paul V. was her principal.  She was a Homemaker and incredible mother of four boys. She liked Bowling, going to the movies, and was an avid reader. The times that she cherished the most were those spent with her sons, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. When the Hinman clan gathered together in public, the talking and laughter would raise the roof! Though Bobbi endured many hardships and challenges in her life, her sense of humor, friendly and open personality, and beautiful smile warmed and touched our hearts for all of her 81 years with us. We are thankful she has finally found peace.

Bobbi is survived by her sons, Michael and William Weiss, her sister, Virginia Brennan, and 16 nieces and nephews. Bobbi is predeceased by her first born, Mark Reed (1965), her youngest son, Daniel Weiss (2019), as well as her sisters, Ruby and Sharon, brothers, Bud. Bernie, and Roy.

A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12- 1 PM at the Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Centers at St. Camillus Residential Health Care Facility at www.st-camillus.org
