Pauline G. Root, 88, of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday. She was born and raised in Rome, NY. She retired from Sky Chefs at Hancock Airport after many years of service. Pauline had many talents, from arranging flowers to baking cookies. Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Bernard T. Root. 

She is survived by her children, Jo Ann (Dick) Roberts, Debbie Saunders, and Joseph L. (Kathleen) Ritch; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and six siblings. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bridgeport VFW on Saturday, August 5, at 1:30 PM.
