Natalie E Thomas

Natalie E. Thomas, 87, of Brewerton, died Friday October 12, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital Syracuse surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Watertown, NY on June 3, 1931 daughter of the late Leonard A. and Hazel Beecher Pfister.  She graduated from Watertown High School in January of 1949. Before moving to Brewerton in 2011, she resided in Watertown, Binghamton, North Syracuse, Camden and McConnellsville, NY.

On November 4, 1949, in Watertown, she married William F. Thomas of Binghamton, whom she fell in love with while she was working at the Whippoorwill Lodge on Murray Island on the St. Lawrence River.  They were married for 45 years before his untimely passing in February of 1995. She spent much of her time doing her favorite hobby gardening.

Natalie is predeceased by her husband; son Donald R. Thomas in 1976;  brother Robert W. Beecher; and sisters, Beverly Biondolillo, Shirley Newman and Norma Jean Pond. She is survived by sons, David W.(Terry) Thomas of  Brewerton and Richard F. (Janice) Thomas of Beeville, TX; daughters Deborah A. Thomas of Floresville, TX and Donna J. Maggiolino of Brewerton; grandchildren, Zeabulon Thomas, Jessica Davis Ramos, Jedidiah Thomas, Richard J. Thomas, Jennifer Yoshioka, Julie Graf, Eric Thomas, Michael Thomas, Katherine Maggiolino, Patricia Maggiolino, Kevin Grell and Christopher Thomas; great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Drake, Van, Dakota, Kagan, Macayla, Alexandra, Talia and Dalton; and brother Kenneth A. Pfister of Watertown.

Graveside services will be private. Contributions may be made in her name to the Brewerton Ambulance or Brewerton Volunteer Fire Department, 9625 Brewerton Road, Brewerton, NY 13029.
