John W. "Jack" Goodfellow

John W. "Jack" Goodfellow, 83, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital.  He was a Vietnam Veteran serving  20 years in the Navy.  Jack was a Lifetime member of the Cleveland American Legion Post 858.He was an avid hunter, and was a dedicated SU Basketball fan.  He enjoyed spending most of his time helping his community with Northshore community baseball, community basketball, backpack buddy program at Taft Bay Park and Fun Day at the Cleveland United Methodist Church.   He was also a Boy Scout Leader for pack 723 for many years.  
He is survived by his wife of 59 years,  Marie "Nanny" Goodfellow; his children, Cathy (Michael Hofmeister) Seaman,  John, Dean and Bill Goodfellow; grandchildren, Carissa Seaman, Jessica (Jason) Bugge, Tyler (Meghan Vaughan) Hohm, Nicole Hohm; 8 great grandchildren, Cody, Corey, Dylan, Kali, Michael, Jordan, Christopher and Trevor, Ellie Rose; a sister, Barbara Sjostrom.
Calling Hours will be Monday, March 26th from 4-6PM at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square.  Services will follow at 6pm, at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Cleveland American Legion.
