Jessica H. Brockway

Jessica Harriet Thompson Brockway, 92 of Cleveland NY, passed away on November 21, 2019 at home with her family.

Born in Bridgeport Connecticut to Otis J. and May J. (Godethwait) Thompson, Jessica worked at Syracuse China, Learbury Clothing, and Central Square Schools where she was known as the loved lunch lady. She was a beloved wife and stay at home mom.  Jessica and Andrew enjoyed 25+ years in Florida where they were very involved in the community.  She enjoyed participating in her children and great grandchildren's lives. Jessica enjoyed card games and dominoes with family members. She will be dearly missed by all. 

Jessica is predeceased by her brother Otis J. (Buck); sisters Marion Moore, Myrtle Goettel, Virginia Vanderworken; daughter Nancy Ann; grandson Robby Weller and great-grandson Dakota Weller. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Andrew H. Brockway Jr.; sister Betty Smith of Liverpool; children Carol (Robert) Weller, Andrew H. III, and Nancy Tomaino; grandchildren Christina (David) Mazzoni, Corrine Weller, Samuel Tomaino, Nicholas Tomaino, Andrew Brockway IV, and Shania Brockway; and great-grandchildren, Maxwell Trickey, Chase Tomaino, Kylee Tomaino.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, 11-1 pm, at Cleveland United Methodist Church, 73 Bridge Street.with a Funeral Service to follow.  Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in Hastings Cemetery.  Flowers may be sent directly to the church.
