Jeffrey A. Boots

Jeffrey A. Boots, 59, of Constantia finished his courageous battle with cancer at home on Saturday with his loving family by his side.
Son of the late Ralph and Pearl Boots, Jeff was a cabinet maker for most of his life but recently loved his job as a Black Jack dealer for Turning Stone.  He loved golfing, trips with his wife Penny to casinos and spending time with his kids and grand kids.  Jeff also was a very active member of the Sons of the American Legion, in Cleveland, NY.  Besides his parents, Jeff was pre-deceased by his brother Roger Boots, his brother in-law, Bob Chilson and sister in-law Tracy Boots.
Surviving are his wife Penny of 35 years; his daughter, Antoinette (Randal) Stier, and his son Jesse (Crystalanne) Boots; his grandchildren, Abigail, Amelia, James, Andy and Emma; his siblings Joan Chilson, John (Keitha) Boots, Don (Donna) Boots, Ralph Boots, Barb (Dan) Frigon, Stan (Mary) Boots and Gregg Boots; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are 5-8pm Tuesday at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. Services are 11am Wednesday at the funeral home. Spring burial St. Mary's Cemetery, Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of CNY.
