Franklin White

Franklin White, 84, of Central Square, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18,, 2019, with loving family by his side.

Son of Ben and Doris White, Franklin retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service, as a Medic, in the Vietnam War. Upon retirement, Franklin owned and operated Newport Opticians in NH.

Franklin is predeceased by his parents and brother Vernon White. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Mary Reed; sons Patrick White and Harland Spencer; daughters Suzanne White and Amy Spencer; sister Elaine; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and grand dog Bella.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 12 pm to 1 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, 684 North Main Street, Central Square with a Memorial Service to follow at 1 pm.
