Fay V. Nellis

Fay Viola Nellis, 52, of Parish, passed away on Thursday, surrounded by family. She was a devoted mother and wife who loved cooking and gathering with friends and family. Fay’s cooking was enjoyed by many, especially around the holidays, which she always made special and memorable. She was an honest, strong-willed, hard-working woman who will be greatly missed. She is predeceased by several beloved pets.

She is survived by her beloved husband, of 33 years, Richard Nellis; children; Marta M. Nellis, Aric C. Nellis; siblings, Mary (Jim) Stevens, Dawn (Mike) Smith, Ann (Alan) Ladd, and Gerald (Jo-Ann) Darling, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Internment will be at the North Volney Cemetery.
