Douglas S. Paye

Douglas S. Paye, 46, of West Monroe unexpectedly passed away  on Friday, October 5th. He was born June 16, 1972 in Greenfield, MA to Donald and Carole Paye.

Doug graduated from Mohawk Trail Regional High School in 1990. He was a self taught auto technician and worked several jobs in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York. His most recent place of employment was Upstate Auto Imports in Baldwinsville.

Doug was a car and truck enthusiast; not only repairing cars but attending various car shows. He spent many weekends as a child attending Austin Healey meets with his family. If it had a motor, Doug was interested in it, from his first mini bike to ATVs, snowmobiles, and boats. Many great times were spent boating both as a child and more recently with his family and friends. Doug enjoyed spending time with his his family, especially his two grandchildren.  He always found great joy in playing with them.

In addition to his parents, Doug is survived by his wife, Helen, of 17 years, stepdaughter, Shannon Main (Justin), grandchildren: Sydney and JD, sister: Lynn Facey (Dave), nephews: Tyler and Cole, and mother-in-law, Aiko Ryan.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 11th from 4-7 PM at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. Private services will be held in Greenfield, MA.
