Daniel Slawoniewski, 63, of Canastota, passed away on Monday. Dan was a jokester and always loved to spend time with his grandchildren. His passion was cooking, especially for friends and family, and he enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Slawoniewski; brother, William Slawoniewski; children, Timothy (Stephanie) Slawoniewski, Thomas (Carol) Slawoniewski; grandchildren, Alex, Isis, and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 7 PM, at Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport.
