Charles B. Stackpoole

Charles "Bruce" Stackpoole, 80, of Middleburg, FL (formerly Brewerton, NY), passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 6, 2018.

Bruce was born in Syracuse, NY on November 14, 1937 to Charles and Nina Stackpoole. He was preceded in death by his siblings Barbara Wandersee and Wayne Stackpoole.  He is survived by his three sons and their spouses Kenneth and Irene, Mark and Karen, and Roger and Karen, and four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was married to Diane Kuhn on May 24, 1958, and they recently celebrated their 60th anniversary together with friends and family.  In addition to being a loving husband and father Bruce was an active member of his church community at the United Methodist Church in Caughdenoy and worked at Lipe Rollway Bearing in Liverpool, NY for 36 years. Bruce and Diane shared a love of golf and travel. Bruce was always there to help family and friends with carpentry projects or to lend a helping hand. Bruce’s quiet caring personality, friendly smile, and humility will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

A viewing will be held at the Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main Street, Central Square, NY at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13th, and funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Caughdenoy Methodist Church, 3 Country Route 37, Central Square, NY.
