Barbara Ann Kohler

Barbara grew up in the Parsonage of the Baptist Church in Central Square, NY.  She was a graduate of Business School and worked as a secretary; librarian and administrative assistant.

Always creative, she enjoyed decorating for the changing seasons; painting; writing; singing in the choir and once danced as “Madame Butterfly” on the Syracuse Stage.

In later years, she became a Home Health Aid her wish was to share the joy of each new day with all she came in contact with. 

She loved gardening; singing and dancing.

   As Barbara wrote, “We shall find peace; We shall hear angels’ We shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds”.

   She is survived by her son TJ Kohler; his wife Donna; their son AJ and his wife Christina;  Her daughter, Andi and Ian Bray and her baby sister Grace Leach and her husband Dale.     

   Calling hours will be 11-1pm at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square with 1pm services following. Burial is in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
