Barbara B Hughes

Barbara Bortel Hughes, 75, of Cicero, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Born in Brewerton, Barbara graduated from Central Square High School Class of 1960 where she met and married her husband of 50 years, Dale Hughes. Barbara was an avid animal lover who enjoyed entertaining and boating at their home on Oneida Lake, in Constantia.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband and high school sweetheart, Dale; daughter Linda (Brian) DiMartino; brothers Charles (Mary) and Stephen (Laure) Bortel; sisters Kathleen (Gary) Beebee and Carol (Ted) Frank; and grandson Connor DiMartino.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N.
