Robert B. Muncil, 84, of Concord, NC, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday.

Robert served with the US Army during the Korean War.  He retired from Allied Chemical after 32 years of service.  Robert was a member of the Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department and Bridgeport VFW.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed camping.

Robert is predeceased by his father and step mother Robert and Arlene; and wife Wanda.  He is survived by his children Suellen (Dan) McCloskey; Tracy Wilson, Roberta (Gordon) Button, and Robert Muncil; brother Meredith Muncil; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his many friends in NY and NC.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, 4 to 6 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 7975 Rt. 31, Bridgeport, with a Funeral Service to follow at 6 pm.  A Private burial will be held in Pine Plains Cemetery, Manlius.
