Mary Agnes Lanty, 76, of Bridgeport, passed away at home with her family at her side on Sunday.  She was a life member and a past president of the Bridgeport Fire Dept. Auxiliary and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi and their Altar Rosary Society.  She was predeceased by her husband, Howard J. Lanty in 2004; sister, Kathleen R. Satalin in 2012.

She is survived by her children, John (Dodie) Lanty, Rose (Case) Benedict, Mary (Bill) Rolfe, Roberta Taubman, Richard Taubman, Kathy Lanty, Lori Stoeckl and her loving dog, Mattie; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Tyrrell and Martin Heim; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7PM at Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport.  Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 9AM at St. Francis of Assisi.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
