Kris W. Kinney, 52, of Parish, passed away on Sunday after losing his battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Kinney in 2004 and nephew, Nathan Thomas in 2011, who are waiting for him with open arms.

He is survived by his son, Jacob (Taylor) Burke; father, Keith (Kate Manning) Kinney; siblings, Kathy (George) Thomas, Kay (Rick) Wallon, Janet (Bernie) Horning, and Kevin (Tina) Kinney; granddaughter, Lakely Burke; 19 nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square, Thursday, 3 – 5 PM, with a service to follow.
