Joyklin Mallette, 81, of West Monroe, passed away on Saturday.

Joyklin was co-owner/operator of Scot-Min Enterprises Logging and Sawmill Operations after his retirement from Operating Engineer Local #545 where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.  He was an outdoorsman and very handy. His unique way of thinking gave him the ability to be a creative inventor.. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; and would help anyone in need.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years, Joan; his children, Randy (Tami) Mallette, Tom (Tammy) Mallette, Cindy (Joe) Sharp; his grandchildren, Mindy, Scott, Brittany, and Michael; his great-grandchildren, Jennalyn, Ashtyn, and a baby boy, Chase, on the way.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday, 1:00 pm, at the family home.  Contributions may be made to West Monroe Volunteer Fire Department, 54 County Route 11, West Monroe, NY  13167
