Joyce A, (LeBlanc) Scott

Joyce A. Scott, 80, of Altmar, passed away on Saturday. Joyce was born in Plainville, MA to Alfred LeBlanc and Lillian Charest. She married TSGT Donald C. Scott, USAF in 1954. Joyce supported her husband during his 21 years of military service, including war time deployments. As a devoted and loving mother of nine children born throughout the US, and abroad, she raised a wonderfully large and loving family. Joyce obtained licensure as a Practical Nurse and worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, camping, fishing and reading. Pre-deceased by Parents; Michael and Lillian Krupa, Son; Steven Scott Brother; Bernie Krupa Sister; Patricia Ollar.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Donald C. Scott; children, Don (Pamela) Scott, David (Cheri) Scott, Susan (Jim) Grabowski, Debra Scott, Catherine (Bruce) Derr, Michael (Wendy) Scott, Russell (Michelle) Scott, and Tim (Gwen) Scott; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie LeBlanc, Gerald (Bev) LeBlanc, Bruce (Connie) Krupa, Brian (Mardel) Krupa, Michael Krupa; sister, Shirley Burns (John Hancock); brother in-law, Bill Ollar; and many nieces and nephews.

A Spring Burial Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at Riverside Cemetery in Altmar.
