Harvey W Ostrander

Harvey W. Ostrander, 90, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, with family by his side.

Harvey served with the US Navy during WWII and retired from Feldmeier Equipment in 1999 after 38 years as a Welder. He enjoyed the outdoors life, particularly hunting and fishing.

Harvey is predeceased by his wife Dolores and sister Doris Becker.  He is survived by his children Karen (Jim) Groff, Cindy (James) Hopkins, Richard Ostrander, Stephen (Mylene) Ostrander, and Kenneth (Kimberly) Ostrander; brother Richard Ostrander; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, 4 to 6 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, 7975 Rt. 31, Bridgeport, with a Funeral Service to follow at 6 pm.  A private burial will take place in the spring.
