Franklin Bud Minor

Franklin Bud Minor, 64, of Liverpool and formerly of Orwell passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 following a brief illness with his family by his side.
Born in Syracuse to the late Franklin and Mary Minor, Bud was a graduate of the Sandy Creek Central High School and also SUNY Brockport.
Bud worked as operations manager for the Scappa North America of Liverpool and formerly for the Schoeller Technical Paper of Pulaski.  Bud was a member of the Syracuse Ski Hawks and was a collector of anything vintage.  Bud enjoyed SU Sports, family get togethers and visiting lighthouses with his longtime companion Kathy Snyder.  Besides his parents, Bud was pre deceased by his brothers Ronald and Robert Minor.
Surviving are his companion of 26 years, Kathy Snyder; his sister Janet Crast; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Monday at the Traub Funeral Home, Central Square.  Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orwell United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
