Edward E. Charlebois, Sr., 77, of Parish, passed away on Wednesday. Ed was born in Syracuse and graduated from the North Syracuse High School in 1956. He went on to serve in the US Navy from 1956 to 1960, spent two years in the reserves, and was a lifetime member of the VFW, as well as a Freemason. Ed worked for the Iron Workers Local 60 until his retirement. He loved to fish and shoot trap, and was a long-time member of the Toad Harbor Rod and Gun Club. Ed enjoyed taking long walks with his beloved dog, Maggie. He is predeceased by, his parents, Earl and Evelyn (Haas) Charlebois; his loving wife of 34 years, Bertha "Skip" Eighmey; son, Edward E. Charlebois, Jr.; and sister, Norma Persons. 

He is survived by his daughters, Jill Johnson, Becky (Kevin) Flegal, Tracy Decker; two step-daughters, Sharry (Robert) Siganowich and Colleen (Daniel) Acquilano; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

There are to be no calling hours. A spring burial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 11 AM, at Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY.
