Dawn B. Seeber, 84 of Bridgeport passed away Saturday January 16, 2016 at St. Josephs Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief illness. 
Dawn, daughter of Harry and Irene (Whitman) Barr was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, NY. She was a member of Bridgeport United Methodist Church and  donated her time on multiple committees throughout the years.
Dawn received a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University, School of Nursing and a Masters Degree from SUNY Cortland.  Before staying home to raise her children she worked at local hospitals and private duty.  She retired in 1993 from Chittenango Central School District as Bridgeport Elementary School Nurse Teacher. 
Family was her life.
Dawn was predeceased by her husband William R. Seeber and son R. John Seeber. 
Survived by a sister Verna Tomarchio; a son W. Robert Seeber, three daughters Valerie (Lloyd) Gilbert, Judith (Thomas) Burns and Robin (Jack) Myers; grandchildren Jeanette (Ron) Forbus, William (Sarah) Burns, Stephen (Emily) Burns, Kurtis (Sabrina) Myers, Alyse (Casey) Palermo, Lloyd (Christina) Horton, great grandchildren Gianna Feher, Cassidy Palermo and Logan Myers; many nieces and nephews. 
The Funeral Service will be Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church at 3pm. The family will greet friends from 2pm-3pm prior to the service. Burial will be at Bridgeport Cemetery. 
Arrangements are with Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dawn’s memory to Lupus Foundation of America, lupus.org
