David R. English, 62, born in Syracuse, NY on December 3, 1953, died suddenly on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at his home in Hastings.

David was formerly employed with English Land Surveying and most recently worked with Doug Lehr Land Surveying of Liverpool.  He was a very special and caring son, husband, and friend who was loved by many.

David is predeceased by his father Richard English in 2000 and son David R. English in 2006.  He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, the former Elizabeth Hadcock; daughter Tammy English of St. Louis, MO; step son John Perry of Albany, NY; mother Berniece English of Hastings, NY; brother John English of Mexico, NY; sister Teresa (Bo) Fleisch of Constantia, NY; two grandsons; two grand daughters; and loving dog Teddy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, at 12:00, at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 684 N. Main St., Central Square.  Contributions may be made to SOVAC, 8 Gertrude Drive, Central Square, NY  13036.
